Course Objectives: 
The purpose of that lesson is to analyse the emergence historical development and qualification of the state by using the political power approaches like law, history, political sciences, anthropology and philosophy. General Public Law tries to create theory aspiring understand of entire function and dimensions of the state unlike Constitutional Law, Administrative Law and Procedural Law.
Course Content: 

Examination of the origin of the state, qualification and development, assessment of principle and institution of the modern state, comparison of unitary, federal and confederal systems, examination of democratic theory and democracy models, assesment of the state and democracy theory in point of Turkey will be discussed.
