Rules Regarding Cell Phones and Electronic Devices in Exam Halls

Dear students;

In order to prevent undesirable negativities during the exam and to ensure exam security, it is important that you pay utmost attention to the following rules.

It is forbidden to have cell phones, computers, smart watches, headphones and other electronic devices and other materials on or near you during the exam, except for those allowed by the instructor. In this context, it is possible to choose one of the following options:

  1. You can choose not to bring phones and other electronic devices and materials that are not allowed to be used in the exam hall (You can leave these devices and materials at home, in your dormitory, in your vehicle, etc.).
  2. If you are coming to the exam hall with a cell phone or other devices or materials mentioned above, make sure that you have a bag with you. You can put your cell phone, other electronic devices and all other materials prohibited for use in the exam in this bag and leave it in the section reserved for bags in the exam halls.
  3. If you have not chosen the above options, you may leave your cell phone, other electronic devices (always turned off) and other materials at the invigilator's desk. In this case, please bring a sticky note with you and write your name and stick it on your belongings.

Cell phones and other electronic devices (even if they are turned off) and other materials should not be on your person, on the desk or anywhere you can access during the exam.
