Faculty of Law

Yeditepe University Faculty of Law offers a four-year undergraduate law degree program. Since some of the courses at our faculty are conducted in English, students whose English level is not sufficient are admitted to the preparatory program. Those who are successful in the placement exam, which is held to measure the English language knowledge of our students, are entitled to start their undergraduate education directly, while other students are directed to preparatory classes determined according to their level of knowledge, and when they reach the level determined there, they start their undergraduate education.

At Yeditepe University Faculty of Law, many courses that are usually taught as electives in other law faculties are compulsory. The course list is updated according to contemporary developments and needs. In addition to the classical law school curriculum, there are also compulsory courses in English from which legal knowledge competence is gained. In this context, "International Law", "EU Law and Institutions", "International Commercial Transactions", "International Commercial Arbitration", "International Protection of Human Rights", "Contracts and Torts in English and American Law", "Intellectual and Industrial Property Law", "Air Law", "International Women's Law" are examples of courses taught in English. In addition, through the summer schools we organize and the realization of the agreements we have made with the aim of enabling students to gain experience at the international level, students are given the opportunity to gain a new perspective on the courses given at this level.
